Johnny's passion for fitness began in High School with his sports playing football and wrestling. He gained valuable knowledge in training with a group but had problems with staying in the game with injuries which led him to pursue a kinesiology degree at San Diego State University. At SDSU he was able to learn about the profession of Athletic training and enhance his abilities through rehabilitation and injury prevention. The past years he has worked with SDSU, Seattle SeaHawks, Cuyamaca community college, University of Saint Katherines, and even the Navy. Having primarily worked with people through injury he has learned to adapt any training to fit any individual's level. Johnny continues to enhance his knowledge in fitness training and scales his training to allow people of all levels to train with him.

Nutrition Coach

NASM and Precision Nutrition Certified

Alex's passion for fitness and nutrition began in school when he started practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling. Aware of his weaker cardio and endurance, he turned to nutrition for an edge. However, his quest for improvement initially led to setbacks, as he fell into the trap of harmful dieting myths, like eating seven meals a day to stoke the metabolic furnace and believing that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Coupled with the intense pressure to drop significant amounts of weight for competition, these experiences left Alex frustrated and disillusioned with the mainstream fitness industry.

These challenges became a turning point, teaching Alex the value of balance and sustainability and shaping his mission to help others achieve their fitness goals without sacrificing the joys of life. With a degree in economics from UC Davis and certifications from NASM and Precision Nutrition, he combines over a decade of experience with evidence-based strategies. His time as a chef and server in the service industry further deepened his appreciation for the holistic experience of food, beyond reducing it to just calories and macronutrients. Having overcome his own struggles with an eating disorder, Alex takes pride in a client-focused approach, helping individuals find sustainable paths to thrive in fitness and overall well-being.
